National Heart Institute: The NHI is a major government resource on all health matters, including diseases, the latest research, health assessment, guidelines, recipes, etc.

Centers for Disease Control: The CDC website includes informtion about diseases and conditions, genetic information, environmental health issues, birth defects, and travel health advisory.

Dr. Koop: The Dr. Koop website includes information about disease states and conditions, with illustrations and a health encyclopedia.

Heart Authority: Offered by the American College of Cardiology, this website is an educational resource created entirely by America's leading cardiologists, dedicated to bringing you the most up-to-date information on cardiovascular problems.

American College of Physicians: The ACP website includes information about various health topics and medications. Their medical encyclopedia includes illustrations. They also provide a directory of ACP internists and local libraries and agencies.
